On this day of reflection, we give thanks to the things in our lives that make it awesome.
I've lived in California for the last 5 years, which was a
blow to my decades of tradition spending it with my family, watching
movies and just messing around with my brother and cousins. Still, I've had others step up to the plate to help me celebrate this wonderful occasion, whether it's through a Friendsgiving the Sunday before the actual holiday or through my BF's family party on the day itself. And really, I just want to give thanks.
For the availability of food and shelter every day and the ability to spend it with those I love.
For my large and loving family, who always give me a place to belong unconditionally and who I should try to be more appreciative than annoyed at.
For my friends, old and new, who have given me so many wonderful memories and I'm sure will be around to create tons more.
For my loving BF, who puts up with me and my crazies and for some reason, loves me for them.
