OOTD: Urbanesque

Dark colors and black are typically not on my fashion radar, especially during the summer season, but today these were what spoke to me when I woke up in the morning.  I feel very New York in this outfit -- like I could go to a nice, hip dinner in the city.  It makes me feel sassy!  I think it's fun how clothes can give you a certain boost of confidence if you feel they look good, don't you?

I'm trying to make a more concentrated effort to cook more at home.  Today I made shrimp stir fry, and I think it ended up turning out pretty good!  Now it's time for So You Think You Can Dance.  Anyone else watch that show?  The contestants are so amazing and totally inspire me to dance.
Thanks for stopping by!

And you did wonderfully with the pattern mixing! The vest is my favorite part and I especially like how you belted it.
