Day 7: Lean Green Blogging Machine

I remembered in my tired stupor yesterday that today is wear a blazer day.  Luckily, I have 2 blazers in my 30 for 30 arsenal, and the teal one decided to make its debut.  Yes, IT decided.  Because my clothes have minds of their own.  I have to bribe them to stay in my closet.  Scared? You should be.

My necklace broke today, but I decided to wear it anyway.  It's a long necklace so I just wrapped it around once and let the ends hang down.  I think it's neat-o.

Day 7: Lean Green Blogging Machine

It was a green kind of day.  Sometimes I just like to pick a color and run with it, and green is one of my favoritest colors ever.

On a completely different tangent (because that's how my mind works), the first day after work following a vacation is always a little hard.  I realized just how much work I have to do today, and it's a tad scary.  But that's okay -- this too shall pass.

Today I was thinking about those crazy people that stand on corners with promotional signs for new town homes, new restaurants, new whatever.  Sometimes they're in costume.  Like there was this one dude dressed as the Statue of Liberty.  It was funny on several levels -- he was a dude and he was shaking this sign about real estate.  I mean, seriously.  My BF said he almost got into an accident twice when he passed the man in his car.   Do you guys have those folks near your house?

Have you or someone you know ever started a thought and had the next sentence be something that makes absolutely no sense?  And the reason is that they had 5 or 6 tangential thoughts between the first sentence and the second and failed to fill you in on the details?  I totally do it.  And it's fun to unravel the string afterwards.  Next time I do it and I remember, I'll share one with you.

Okay, I'll stop rambling.  Thanks for stopping by and see ya tomorrow.

  1. I have to train my clothes to make decisions for me. It would make it much easier.

  3. Ack! How did I miss these comments?

@Linda -- I have this problem where inanimate objects talk to me. I was at H&M and this blazer demanded I take it home. It's a bit of a prima donna.

@archives - Thanks! That's the detail that makes me love it so much

@daisymay - It was a green sorta day. Thanks!
