Day 9: Sweatery Goodness

I totally got distracted at work today and came home later than I expected.  That would be the reason my pictures progressively got darker.  It has nothing to do with the fact that I was getting angrier and angrier and controlling the available light in my environment -- nothing!

Along those lines, do you ever wish that you were some sort of bad ass superhero?  I've spent numerous hours over the course of my life trying to decide what sort of powers I would want if I could choose.  Most of the time I think flying would be the best -- it isn't the most useful, but it would definitely be the most fun!  Other times I just think (haha, just) it would be great to be a wizard.  Not the evil kind. Possibly at Hogwarts.  But I digress.

I'm starting to run out articles of clothing for the 30x30 challenge that I haven't worn yet.  While the no shopping part's been hard, this is where the true challenge lies.  With 21 more days to go, how long will it take to get stir crazy and sick of the clothes I'm restrained to wearing?  Sigh.  What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?

Outfit Details
Cardigan: Anthropologie Lia Molly Coin Purse Cardigan
Dress: Built By Wendy Sweater Minidress
Belt & Necklace: Anthropologie
Tights: Anthropologie Tintorella Printed Paisley Tights
Boots: Anthropologie Miss Albright Loose Reign Boots

Now that I look at them in pictures, those tights look scarily similar to my skin.  Well, my veins don't do crazy paisley patterns or anything (or DO they?), but someone once told me they did a double take when I was wearing them because it looked like a prosthetic leg.  I don't know about you, but I typically don't make plastic looking legs a fashion statement I would get behind.  Whatever, street style is all about expression right?  And I like these tights.  SO THERE.

I will definitely try to make it home when it's brighter out tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by, see ya tomorrow!

  1. Around the middle of the challenge, you might start to feel restricted, but that's when you start looking for ideas from other people and start getting really creative!

  3. You have such great pieces! One of the best things about the 30x30 is the creativity you start using with your 30 items. It's amazing the combos you'll come up with that you never thought of before. Have fun!
