OOTD: Polka Plaid (or J Crew'ed)

I actually had a different post in mind for today, but then I got lazy. But not too lazy to post. Some happy in between medium where I still give you something!

This post is dubbed polka plaid due the patterns that I'm wearing in this outfit (thank you Captain Obvious) and alternatively, J Crew'ed.  I think the patterns work because the pin dots are smaller than the plaid pattern so that they don't compete with each other.  Then, the whole outfit is grounded with the mustard and the camel pieces. Colors are my favorite, especially after the super hard black and white challenge yesterday!

Somehow I managed to get 4 J Crew items from different sources all into one outfit!  This was unplanned, I swear. But I suppose it's not wonder then that they all go together.  I'll take it.

Thanks for stopping by!

  4. This is really great! I love the scale of the two prints that you combined, and that skirt is all kinds of perfection. I love the plaid, the classic colors, the length and the cut.
