OOTD: Weekend Comfort

This was a really good weekend.  I had Friday off, so BF and I spent the whole day out, eating lunch, wandering a local downtown area and enjoying a happy hour cocktail.  He did have to work a few hours in the afternoon, but I was more than happy to spend that time at the Nordstrom Rack near his work.  Does anyone else love this store as much as I do?  I came away with a pair of boots that I've been stalking since the fall, but couldn't justify because of all the boots I already own.  Well, they were there, in my size, and 80% off, and how could I NOT pick them up?  So I did. 

Yesterday I played a couple soccer games.  I tend to play defense, but for some reason I was playing in front for a lot of them.  Well, for the first time in my ENTIRE LIFE, I scored a hat trick.  What's a hat trick, you may ask?  3 goals in one game!  For someone that never gets that close to the goal, it's pretty fantastic.  I was on cloud 9 most of the day.  In fact, I'm still excited about it. 

The weekend was really warm, so this outfit is all about comfort.  These were taken in the middle of the day, so apologies for the awkward lighting.
