OOTD: Retro Flight Attendant

I bought these cords sometime last year when ankle pants were in season so that I could buy pants that were the right length for once.  Bonus that bright colors and color blocking are still in season now!  I've been inspired by the pants/white shirt/scarf combo that some of the ladies in the blogosphere were sporting, so I thought I'd do my own take on it.  I like the result, even though I feel like a sorta retro flight attendant.

Shoes: Target Makana Cutout Sliver Wedges
Scarf: Missoni
Sunglasses: Kate Spade

 

Apologies for the recent absences.  Initially they were because of work stress, but I recently got some pleasant news that will relieve some of that and I just wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend.  
This is actually yesterday's outfit, so I'll try to be back later with the pictures I took of today's outfit.  It's time to go grocery shopping for the first time in weeks!  Our fridge is insanely empty.

    I love the mustard and blue together! I need to go grocery shopping as well. We planned on going today, but the beautiful sunshine would not allow us to spend any time indoors. Now we have nothing to eat:)

    Sometimes you just have to trade sunshine for sustenance, right? I totally understand. Enjoy the beautiful days and hope you get a fuller fridge soon! :P
