OOTD: Easter Eggs Anyone?

This outfit reminds me of Easter Eggs.  It's probably all the pastels together in one place.  Probably.  Yes, that's the ticket.  I fell for the Impressionist's Chemise at Anthro the season it came out, so when it went on sale, I absolutely had to pick it up.  These last few weeks at Anthro have really been cleaning me out.  I picked up the aforementioned chemise, the Delicate Drafts Cardigan, the Neo-Refinement Pullover, the Gust of Wind Pumps (2nd cut!), the Lapis Lazuli dress....oh my.  I may not be able to justify keeping all of them, but I've come up empty for so many sale cycles that maybe I can keep them all? Haha.  Yeah, probably not.

Outfit Details

Dress: Anthropologie Impressionists Chemise
Shoes: Target Taki Mary Janes
Necklace: Anthropologie

I've really been into pattern matching lately.  This outfit isn't something I would've put together 6 months ago, but an open mind really opens up your wardrobe.  I recommend trying it if you haven't already -- you won't get as many stares as you think you will, I promise.

One of the things I love about Anthro is that their chemises are so pretty and sturdy!  I don't even think twice about wearing them as dresses.  This is especially true for someone of my height, where the hems still hit reasonable lengths just above the knee.  Plus, cheaper price point!  It's like buying clothes in the kids section except the fit is still for a woman.  It's a win win :).

Thanks for stopping by, see ya tomorrow!
