Her: Are those mini-typewriters on your shirt?
Me: Yup.
Her: Are you even old enough to know what those are?
I remember my aunt's old suitcase typewriter that I used to open up, put semi-transparent paper in and just type random stuff, imagining that I was an old time writer or something. It was a grey or greenish color and always slightly dusty. I love nostalgic memories like that.
Admittedly, I don't really like my outfit today, but in the nature of style blogging, here it is anyway:

Hence the goofy pictures. These pants are part of the 3 pairs of pants I somehow managed to acquire last weekend. But that's for another post.
Thanks for stopping by, see ya tomorrow!
That is such a cute top! I love the color.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristin! Green is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love old typewriters. My grandma used to have one in her flowershop when I was little & I typed all the time on that thing!
ReplyDeleteAw, a flower shop? How cute! I just imagined a little flower shop and a little you on a typewriter charming the customers. <3 it!
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I had to take typewriting classes while I was at junior high. They made us buy our own typewriter and carry it home to school and vice-versa to do assignments.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I do like your look on those pictures.
Woe, how heavy were those things? You had to lug it to and from school?
