Day 27: Shades of Grey

Does anyone else have a serious problem with Target?  I mean really, every time I go to that freaking store, I spend close to or over $100.  Today, the BF and I got 2 bags worth of stuff plus a couple gallons of tea, and somehow managed to spend $122.  It's the beginning of the month and I've already eaten more than a third of my grocery budget (Did I ever mention I love mint.com?). Speaking of mint, I got mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches during my Target trip.  Related? Not really.  Tangential? Absolutely.   /sigh.

The pictures below were taken at 6pm people -- 6pm!  I'm so excited about the days getting longer, because it means several things.  More sports (<3 soccer & ultimate frisbee), more sunshine and more outdoor parties (BBQs and picnics, here we come!).  And with daylight savings just around the corner, it gets even better, and soon!

Outfit Details
Top: J Crew Buffalo Check Boy Shirt
Skirt: Anthropologie Avant Tweed Skirt
Shoes: Target Taki Mary Jane Pumps
Belt: Anthropologie Snake Bite Belt
Tights: American Apparel

This is an outfit I meant to wear ages ago in my 30 for 30, but somehow forgot every time the opportunity arose or one of the articles of clothing I wanted to wear was in the wash.  So here we are, at day 27, and I've finally got this outfit in.  I like the varying shades of grey with the pop of blue and white on top.

I'm excited this challenge is coming to a close.  I'm really missing some of the things in my closet and I want to get back to some of the features I started earlier in this blog.  Stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by, see ya tomorrow!

  1. Cute outfit! And yea, totally get the Target thing. I can never get out of there without spending a small fortune. It's like I go in there and see things I never knew I needed, until then lol. And I'm also super excited for longer (and warmer!) days. I don't think I've ever been so excited for spring before. And a new season means new things at Target!

  2. Thanks! Target is the life and bane of my existence :P. On new things at Target -- on March 13th, they're bringing back a lot of the old designer collaboration dresses. Go look it up, I'm super excited!
