OOTD: Birds, Cattle and Snakes

Because of my long day at the office yesterday, I woke up late.  And was at a loss for what to wear.  Then I remembered the outfit Ashley styled for Kim on Anthroholic and thought: Let's go with that! And here is what 'that' is:

Outfit Details:
Coat: Anthropologie Alice in Autumn Sweatercoat
Cardigan: Anthropologie Cattleya Cardigan
Dress: Anthropologie Southward Stop Dress
Belt: Anthropologie Snakebite Belt
Shoes: Anthropologie Pebbled and Primped Boots

My first fully Anthro outfit since the inception of this blog and I've realized 3 of the 5 items have animals in their name.  I stared at myself in the mirror for 5 minutes today unsure of whether or not I liked the stripes over the pattern, but ultimately had to go so just said "Eff it" and ran out the door.  In retrospect, I think the boots and the belt make it.

And here is my "I'm so excited because I have to work after I'm done blogging" picture.  So excited. Really :).

You may have noticed that there is a new 'Style Challenge' tab on the menu.  I'm looking for suggestions on what to do for my next one!  I'm thinking socks and open toed shoes.

Also, I managed to get over to Anthro today to pick up my Avant-Tweed skirt, which meaaaans -- fitting room reviews!  I was so good today -- I saw a Refined Cord Dress and a Norwegian Woods skirt AND a First Whisperings Dress all in my size and I didn't buy any of them!   Hopefully I don't live to regret it.

Anyway, enough chatter for now.  Thanks for stopping by!  Se you tomorrow!
